Petitioner, who is husband of opposite party no.2 apprehends arrest in a case registered for offence under sections 498A of the Indian Penal Code.

In view of the allegation that the petitioner committed torture for non-fulfilment of dowry on the victim, prayer for bail of the petitioner is refused with direction to surrender and seek regular bail within six weeks which would be considered on its own merit without prejudice.
