2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offence under Sections 319(2), 318(4), 316(2), 338, 103(1), 61(2), 3(5) of B.N.S.

3. As per F.I.R., on 10.09.2024 at around 6 PM, son of informant went to the house of petitioner and demanded his due amount, this petitioner along with co-accused brutally assaulted him (son of informant) with lathi, danda, causing grievous injury to him and thereafter, in course of treatment, he died. During investigation, it has come that the son of informant, before his death, had disclosed the name of petitioner and others.

4. Considering the nature of accusation, the prayer for bail of petitioner is rejected. However, since petitioner is in custody since 16.05.2025, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial.
