JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 24-10-2019 The learned counsel for the respondents has submitted, by referring to the counter affidavit filed on behalf of the respondent no.4 that the Accountant General, Bihar, Patna, has issued the authority slip in the name of the petitioner vide letter dated 25.09.2019 for payment of gratuity amount as well as pension amount. It is submitted that there is no impediment in payment of the said amount, since no objection certificate has also been issued and the petitioner is himself required to be present before the Treasury Officer for identification of his signature as also is required to furnish the Bank account

Patna High Court CWJC No.17113 of 2019(3) dt.24-10-2019 2/2 number, whereafter the aforesaid amount shall be credited to the account of the petitioner herein.

The learned counsel for the respondents has further submitted that as far as the leave encashment and group insurance amounts are concerned, the same have already been paid to the petitioner herein. As regards GPF amount, it is submitted that the authority slip has been issued and the same would also be credited in the account of the petitioner within a period of two weeks from today.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondents are directed to ensure payment of the unpaid amounts within a period of six weeks from today, failing which the petitioner would be at liberty to file an appropriate interlocutory application in the present disposed of case for initiating contempt proceedings against the defaulters. The present writ petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid directions.
