Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Barhara (Sinha O.P.) P.S. Case No. 240 of 2016 registered under Sections- 272/273 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 47/57 of Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 24.10.2016. Similarly situated coaccused Dhanjee Patel has been granted bail by this Court vide order dated 05.10.2016 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 44298 of 2016. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand)

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7744 of 2017 (2) dt.20-03-2017 2/2 with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of /Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhojpur in connection with Barahara P.S. Case No. 240 of 2016.
