1. Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.
2. This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Buxar (Town) Police Station Case No. 303 of 2024, disclosing offences under Sections 147, 149, 341, 323, 307, 504 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the First Information Report, the informant has alleged that daughter of his brother-in-law had come to his house from Uttar Pradesh about three months back. The petitioner misbehaved with her for which he was scolded. On 06.02.2024, the girl had visited to his maternal uncle's village where the petitioner also arrived and again misbehaved with her. She was assaulted by the villagers. After coming back from that place to Buxar, the petitioner along with ten to fifteen persons abused and assaulted the informant and threatened with dire consequences.
4. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.58883 of 2024(2) dt.11-09-2024 2/2 petitioner is a student and is studying in B.Sc., Agriculture. He next submits that injury caused to the informant is simple in nature and the parties are co-villagers and they have entered into compromise.

Having regard to the submissions made on behalf of the parties and taking into consideration the fact that the injury is simple nature, the petitioner is having no criminal antecedent and he is a student studying in B.Sc., Agriculture, I am inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of anticipatory bail.
6. This application is, accordingly, allowed.
7. Let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the Court below within four weeks, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Buxar, in connection with Buxar (Town) Police Station Case No. 303 of 2024, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
