The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Rohtas P.S. Case No.191 of 2016 registered under Sections 30(a) (d) (g), 32 (2) (3) and 37(a) (b) of the New Excise Amendment Act, 2016. The accusation is of recovery of 210 pouches, each containing 200 ml. country made liquor, from a room of the house of the petitioner.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case and the petitioner having no criminal antecedent is in custody since 25.10.2016.
