JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 20-05-2016 Heard learned counsels for the petitioners and the State. The petitioners being the brothers, mother and brother's wife of the husband of the victim are apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 504, 307 and 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The basic accusation is of torture for non-fulfillment of the dowry demand. It is alleged by the informant that her hands and legs were tied and after pouring kerosene oil, all the accused persons attempted to lit fire as a result the informant received burn injury.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the accusation against the petitioners is omnibus and general. For

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.10999 of 2016 (3) dt.20-05-2016 2/2 the occurrence of 15.07.2015, the complaint was filed on 16.09.2015 which came to be registered as a police case on 06.12.2015.

It is submitted by learned APP that specific accusation has been levelled against these petitioners and the informant received 20% burn injury.

The aforesaid facts constitute good ground for consideration of prayer for regular bail.

Let the learned court below consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioners if they surrender within a period of six weeks in connection with Warisaliganj P.S. Case No. 289 of 2015 pending in the court of learned SDJM, Nawada. Accordingly, the application is disposed of.
