The petitioner is accused in connection with Special Case No. 17 of 2016, arising out of Tarabari P.S. Case No. 34 of 2016, registered under Sections 20, 22, 23 and 24 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Araria.

The accusation is that, on receiving secret information about carrying Ganja loading in the vehicle, police started checking of the vehicle at Damra Dhobi Tola at pitch road then found that one Scorpio was coming in high speed. Thereafter, on seeing the police personnel, the persons, who were sitting in the Scorpio, started to flee away but they were apprehended, who

No.8213 of 2017 (2) dt.10-03-2017 disclosed there names as Pappu Kumar (petitioner), Chamru Singh and Suresh Choudhary and Praveen Kumar was found sitting in the driving seat. On search, two begs were recovered, containing 14 K.G. and 16 K.G. of Ganja. On quary, Chamru Singh disclosed that the said Ganja was carrying from the house of Gulabi Singh, father of petitioner, to supply the same to the house of Suresh Choudhary.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case mere on suspicion and he is in custody since 10.05.2016. Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and the recovery of huge quantity of Ganja, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for grant of bail stands rejected.
