Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State through virtual mode.

The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Parbatta P.S. Case No. 134 of 2022 lodged under Sections 341, 342, 323, 504, 506, 498(A)/ 34 of the I.P.C. read with Section 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is a poor husband and ready to keep his wife with respect and dignity. He submits that he is also ready to enter into mediation/ conciliation and want to settle this matter. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.55314 of 2022(2) dt.18-11-2022 2/2 since 16.07.2022 and counsel for the informant has no objection to sit with him in mediation/ conciliation.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, let the petitioner above named, be granted provisional bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M, Khagaria in connection with Parbatta P.S. Case No. 134 of 2022, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 437(3) of Cr.P.C. The court is directed to fix a date for mediation/ conciliation between the parties either himself or before mediation centre in case, the settlement takes place within 90 days from the date of initiation of mediation/ conciliation then the trial court shall confirm the bail otherwise the bail granted to the petitioner shall be cancelled.

With this observation, the bail application stands disposed off.
