The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is non-payment of difference of pay for the period of 13.03.1982 to 30.09.1997.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was paid salary for the aforesaid period but he was not granted the revised pay scale and he was paid salary as Assistant Teacher but denied the salary of the Head Master. He further submits that the petitioner is entitled to grant of pay scale of Head Master for the aforesaid period and as such

Without going to the merits of this case, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction that the District Education Officer, Rohtas will enquire into the mater whether the petitioner has worked as the Head Master for the aforesaid period i.e. 13.03.1982 to 30.09.1997 and if so then the District Education Officer, Rohtas will ensure the payment of difference salary of the Assistant Teacher and Head Master to this petitioner within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
