JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 09-05-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks bail in Bihar P.S. Case No. 476 of 2016 instituted for the offence under Sections-467, 468, 471, 420, 414 & 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.
It has been submitted that name of this petitioner has been disclosed by Banti Kumar in his confessional statement. As per written report, police got confidential information that two members of the gang, used to cheat the innocent people by changing their ATM cards and to withdraw their money near the ATM booth. One of the co-accused Banti Kumar was apprehended and several ATM cards of different banks were recovered from him. He disclosed the name of the petitioner. In such circumstances, the prayer for bail is allowed
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21162 of 2017 (2) dt.09-05-2017 2/2 and the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Bihar P.S. Case No. 476 of 2016 to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nalanda at Bihar Sharif subject to condition that both the bailors should be close relatives of the petitioner.
