The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Darauli P.S. Case No. 250/2017 dated 20.11.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 504 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is alleged to have assaulted the informant twice and in the second instance, the nose of the informant was cut.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that admittedly there is a dispute for passage over a plot of land and a counter version of the occurrence has also been lodged by the petitioner. The injuries suffered by the informant are stated to be simple in nature.

No.25477 of 2018 (2) dt.03-05-2018 2/2 Considering the background facts and also that the petitioner does not have any criminal antecedent, he is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on his furnishing bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Siwan in connection with Darauli P.S. Case No. 250/2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
