The petitioner is in custody in connection with Sessions Trial No.340 of 2018 arising out of Kargahar P.S.Case No.167 of 2017 registered for an offence under Sections 328, 304(B) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Earlier the prayer for bail of this petitioner was rejected vide order dated 04.10.2018 passed in Cr.Misc.No.19090 of 2018.

Vide order dated 28.08.2019, a report was called for from the learned Additional Sessions Judge-VII, Rohtas at Sasaram with regard to present stage of the trial and the same

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.51129 of 2019(5) dt.06-11-2019 2/2 has been received vide letter no.80 dated 06.09.2019 which reveals that till date six witnesses have already been examined on behalf of the prosecution and some official witnesses are yet to be examined.

In view of the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

However, the trial Court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial within a period of one year from the date of this order.
