JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 19-02-2020 Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 50 of 2017 arising out of Raxaul P.S. Case No. 162 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 20, 22, 23 and 24 of the N.D.P.S. Act. Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 09.11.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 49024 of 2017 and there is recovery of 6 Kg. of Charas from the petitioner.

The ground for bail is that the petitioner is in custody for almost 2 and 1⁄2 years.

Heard learned A.P.P. and perused the report called for from the learned trial court from which it appears that out of 6 charge-sheeted witnesses 5 have been examined and learned trial court has assailed that the trial is likely to be concluded.
