This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offence under Section 30(d) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
Empty bottles of beer were being unloaded from a truck of which the petitioner was a driver. Allegation is that the empty bottles were likely to be used for filling up with spurious liquor.
Submission of the petitioners is that the empty bottles were not for use of any purpose rather it was for the purpose of creation of new bottles, after liquefying. Considering the aforesaid fact, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand)
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.22150 of 2017 (2) dt.09-05-2017 2/2 with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Mahmadpur P.S. Case No. 20 of 2017 to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, I, Gopalganj, or successor Court.
