The following writ application has been filed on behalf of the petitioner for the following relief:- (i) For issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the Respondent No.2-State Level Committee for Wood-Based Industries, Bihar to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 11.05.2025 (Annexure-P-4) requesting therein to grant approval to the Licensing OfficerCum-Divisional Forest Officer, Tirhut Forest Division, Muzaffarpur to transfer/renew the License No. 253 of 1996 on the basis of "Sale" in terms of the Bihar Wood-Based Industries (Establishment & Regulation) Act, 2025 and the aforesaid representation is still pending for consideration before the State Level Committee for Wood-Based Industries, Bihar, Patna.
(ii) For issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the Respondent No.3 not to
Patna High Court CWJC No.13797 of 2025(2) dt.30-10-2025 2/2 renew the licence in favour of the respondent no. 4 till such time the matter is finally decided by SLC in terms of Section 11(1) of the Bihar Wood Based Industries (Establishment and Regulation) Act, 2025.
(iii) For issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent authorities not to interfere with the operation of saw mill in the facts and circumstances of the case.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner shall be satisfied if an order is passed for disposal of annexure P-4 dated 11.05.2025 which is pending before the respondent no. 02.
4. In view of the above, the respondent no. 2 is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner as contained in annexure P-4 of this writ application within four weeks from the date of communication of a copy of this order by a reasoned order after hearing the petitioner.
5. With the aforesaid direction, this application is disposed of.
