2. In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Raxaul P.S. Case No. 26 of 2024 and NDPS Case No. 31 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 414, 420, 120-B, 468, 471, 489-A, 489-B, 489-C, 489D/34 of the IPC and 8, 20(b)(ii)(c) of the NDPS Act.
3. As per allegation, the informant got a secret information that near R.S. Hotel, Block Road, two persons on scooty with fake currency notes and narcotics substance were likely to come, on that information, the police party came there and apprehended co-accused Md. Yusuf @ Pappu. On search, 1.02 kg of ganja was recovered from his possession. He also disclosed the names of co-accused Ravi Kumar Soni, Sajan Kumar and the petitioner in his confessionals statement. Thereafter, the house of Ravi Kumar Soni was searched and some materials for printing the counterfeit currency notes were recovered from his house.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.57644 of 2024(5) dt.31-01-2025 2/2 that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Nothing was recovered from his conscious possession. He is a person of clean antecedent. He has also submitted that on exactly similar footing, co-accused Suraj Kumar has been granted regular bail by this Court vide order dated 30.01.2025 in Cr. Misc. No. 38266 of 2024.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above-named be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge Court-II, NDPS Act, East Champaran, Motihari in connection with Raxaul P.S. Case No. 26 of 2024 and NDPS Case No. 31 of 2024, subject to the following condition that the petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.
6. Before accepting the bail bond of the petitioner, the learned court below shall verify his criminal antecedent and if it is found that he is involved in any other case except the present one, his bail bond shall not be accepted.
