JUSTICE SUNIL KUMAR PANWAR ORAL ORDER 19-04-2023 The present petition has been filed for modification of the order dated 21.07.2022 passed in Cr. Appeal (SJ) No. 2181 of 2022 to the extent of extending the period of surrender.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner was seriously ill. Hence, he could not furnish the bail bonds on time.

The petitioner is directed to deposit Rs. 5000/- before District Legal Services Authority, Bettiah, West Champaran.

On the ground mentioned in the modification

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25516 of 2023(2) dt.19-04-2023 2/2 petition, the same is allowed. The period of surrender is further extended for a period of four weeks from today. The order dated 21.07.2022 passed in Cr. Appeal (SJ) No. 2181 of 2022 is modified to the extent as indicated above.

Accordingly, the petition stands allowed.
