The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Sonepur P.S. Case No. 559 of 2017 dated 10.12.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 324, 354, 307, 379, 147 and 148 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioners are alleged to have assaulted the informant and others. There appears to be a land dispute between the parties. The portion of land for which there is rival claim is stated to have been purchased by family members of the petitioners long time back. A title suit between the parties is also

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21490 of 2018(2) dt.26-04-2018 2/2 pending.

Considering the land dispute being the genesis of the occurrence and there being general and omnibus allegation against the petitioners, they are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, 1st Chapra, Saran in connection with Sonepur P.S. Case No. 559 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
