The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is non-payment of difference of arrears of House Rent Allowance and Dearness Allowance from January, 2006 to March, 2010.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that on acceptance of UGC pay scale the petitioner is entitled to benefit of payment of the HRA and DA of the revised pay scale but the same has not been paid to the petitioner whereas

Patna High Court CWJC No.15683 of 2019(2) dt.02-08-2019 2/2 other similarly circumstanced persons have been granted the said benefit.

Considering the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the University to take appropriate decision with regard to payment of arrears of HRA and DA for the period from January, 2006 till March, 2010. Necessary decision in this regard must be taken by the respondents within a maximum period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
