2. This writ application has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to declare the result of the petitioner as he had applied for the post of Driver and had participated in the process of selection. He is also seeking a direction to publish the merit-list of all the candidates who had participated in the process of selection.

3. A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of Central Selection Board of Constable stating therein that the petitioner belongs to BC-M-NHG and he had secured only 11 marks whereas cut-off-marks is 31 in his category. It has

Patna High Court CWJC No.17652 of 2019(2) dt.22-10-2019 2/2 accordingly been stated that as the petitioner did not secure the minimum cut-off-marks fixed after the process of selection was undertaken, he has not been declared successful. The result of the recruitment in question is said to have been published.

4. In view of the averments made in the counter affidavit, the writ application has become infructuous and is accordingly disposed of.

5. It is, however, directed that let the Board consider uploading the entire result of the selection in question on its website, if not already uploaded.
