The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Deoria P.S.Case No. 18 of 2013 registered under Sections 399 and 402 of the Indian Penal Code.
Considering the gravity of the offence as also criminal antecedent of the petitioner, which would show that he is accused in at least four other cases of serious nature as narrated in para 3 of the bail application, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, the application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected. In case the petitioner surrenders within three weeks from today and seeks bail, the same shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced in any manner by this order.
