The petitioner is accused in connection with Sessions Trial No. 322 of 2016 arising out of Mahnar P.S. Case No. 64 of 2014 registered under Section 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The accusation is of killing of the daughter of the informant and disposed of her dead body by her husband and inlaws due to non-fulfilment of demand of dowry. Submission is that the petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased. There is general and omnibus allegation of demand of dowry and killing of the deceased.
