2. Petitioners apprehend arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 341, 307, 504/506 and other ancillary sections of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, on the alleged date and time of the occurrence, while the informant had gone to the house of one Rahul Singh, all the FIR named accused persons including these petitioners and some unknown persons reached there and demanded Rs.2 lacs and tried to take away said Rahul Singh towards Scorpio vehicle. On protest, unknown persons

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.57779 of 2023(2) dt.05-09-2023 2/2 assaulted the informant on his head with rifle causing him injury.

4. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that there is general and omnibus allegation against these petitioners and specific allegation of assaulting son of the informant is against unknown persons. Allegation of demand of extortion is routine and ornamental in nature.

5. Considering the fact that unknown persons are alleged to have assaulted the victim, prayer for bail of all the petitioners is allowed. In the event of arrest/surrender within six weeks from today, let these petitioners, mentioned above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lakhisarai in Lakhisarai Police Station Case No. 307 of 2023, subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
