The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Complaint Case No. 738 of 2014, registered under Sections 323, 342 and 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The accusation is of torturing the complainantopposite party no. 2 by her husband and in-laws due to nonfulfillment of demand of dowry. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner, who is the husband of the deceased, has falsely been

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.23163 of 2017 (2) dt.17-05-2017 implicated in this case due to misunderstanding. It is further submitted that petitioner is in custody since 27.03.2017. Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gaya, in connection with Complaint Case No. 738 of 2014. Out of two sureties, one surety must be the close relative of the petitioner.
