2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in the present case registered for the offence under Sections 302, 494, 504, 506, 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The deceased was married to petitioner. He remarried again with one Neetu Devi. All the accused persons including Neetu Devi have assaulted the deceased and killed her.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 11.09.2023.

5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the allegation levelled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. This application for regular bail is, accordingly, rejected.

7. The petitioner may renew his prayer for bail if the prosecution delays the trial.
