The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Teghra P.S. Case No. 129 of 2017 registered under Sections 304B/34 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The accusation is of killing the daughter of the informant by her husband and in-laws due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry and disposed of her dead body. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is the mother-in-law of the deceased and due to ill relation in between the deceased and her husband, Santosh Kumar, deceased, daughter of the informant, committed suicide, but with ulterior motive whole family members have falsely

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.29038 of 2018(2) dt.10-05-2018 2/2 been implicated in this case. Moreover, Santosh Kumar, husband of the deceased, is in custody and co-accused, Shyam Kumar, who is the father-in-law of the deceased, has already been allowed privilege of pre-arrest bail by a Bench of this court vide order dated 01.02.2018 passed in Criminal Misc. No. 59255 of 2017.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai, in connection with Teghra P.S. Case No. 129 of 2017, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
