The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Hayaghat P.S. Case No. 20 of 2018 registered under Sections 448, 376, 511, 341, 323, 379, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Considering the direct and specific allegation made against the petitioner in the first information report by the victim that he not only tried to ravish her on point of pistol but also assaulted her son as a result of which, he became unconscious, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. The application is
