JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 27-08-2025 Heard Mr. Tuhin Shankar, learned counsel along with Mr. Gopal Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner; Mr. Satish Chandra Mishra, learned counsel along with Mr. Md. Nurul Hoda, learned counsel for the informant and Mr. Ajit Kumar, learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Katihar Town P.S. Case No. 180 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Considering the nature of allegation made in the FIR to be purely civil in nature and the parties have jointly agreed to settle the dispute amicably outside the Court, I find

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.55053 of 2025(2) dt.27-08-2025 2/2 that the matter can be resolved outside the Court by way of mediation.

4. Both the parties are directed to appear before the learned District Court on 09.09.2025 at 10:30 A.M.

5. Learned District Court is directed to take necessary action to refer the matter before the learned Mediator of the District Mediation Center.

6. Learned Mediator of the District Mediation Center concerned shall make his/her best efforts to settle the dispute amicably and thereafter submit his/her report before the concerned learned District Court, well within a period of six months, till then, no coercive action shall be taken against the petitioner in connection with the aforesaid case.

7. In case of failure on the part of the petitioner to appear on 09.09.2025 before the learned District Court or any date fixed by the learned Mediator, the interim protection granted to the petitioner shall automatically lose its force.

8. Accordingly, the present bail application stands disposed of.
