JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 18-07-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks bail in Gaya Rail P.S. Case No. 101 of 2017 instituted for the offence under Sections- 379 & 411 of the Indian Penal Code.

There is allegation against this petitioner that he was caught pick-pocketing the informant of Rs. 20,000/- He was apprehended and brought to the police station by the police personnel and on search, Rs. 20,000/- was recovered from his possession. In the supplementary affidavit, filed by the petitioner, it is mentioned that the petitioner is an accused in another case of similar nature.

In such circumstances, this court is not inclined to release the petitioner on bail at this stage. Accordingly, prayer for bail is

The petitioner is at liberty to renew his prayer for bail in the court below itself after six months, if no substantial progress is made in the case.
