The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Nawada Nagar (Kadirganj) P.S. Case No. 12 of 2017, registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016. The accusation is that 1300 litres of illicit country made liquor is said to have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner and two others. On inquiry, they disclosed that the seized liquor was being carried for one Rajesh Kumar Singh. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 26.03.2017 and he has got no criminal antecedent. It has further been submitted that after investigation, charge sheet has also been submitted in this case.

No.24591 of 2017 (2) dt.29-05-2017 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nawada in connection with Nawada Nagar (Kadirganj) P.S. Case No. 12 of 2017.
