The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sultanganj P.S.Ca;se No.242 of 2016, registered for offences punishable under Sections 25(1-B)A/26 of the Arms Act. Allegation against the petitioner is of recovery of one loaded country-made Pistol with cartridges.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he has been falsely implicated in this case, having no criminal antecedent. The petitioner is in custody for more than seven months.

Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, the learned trial court is directed to

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.30252 of 2017 (2) dt.19-07-2017 2/2 verify about criminal antecedent of the petitioner and if he has no criminal antecedent, the petitioner, above named, shall be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Sultanganj P.S.Case No.242 of 2016, pending in the court of A.C.J.M., Bhagalpur.
