JUSTICE KISHORE KUMAR MANDAL ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 13-02-2015 The only contention of the petitioners is that the representations (Annexure-6 and 6/1) filed by the petitioners before the District Land Acquisition Officer for amendment in compensation amount have not, till date, been considered and disposed of. The rate at which the valuable land of the petitioners have been acquired does not commensurate with the actual value of land of the petitioner. The land is close to N.H-83 near Jehanabad town. They have, in fact, claimed enhanced compensation amount.

Having heard the parties, the writ application is disposed of by directing the respondent District Land Acquisition Officer, Jehanabad (respondent no. 4) to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioners in accordance with law as quickly as possible preferably within two months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order along with a fresh copy of the fresh representation before the said respondent.
