2. The present writ petition has been filed for following reliefs:- (i) For issuance of a writ of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents authorities to

Patna High Court CWJC No.12969 of 2024(2) dt.02-09-2024 2/3 consider the case of promotion in the light of publication of promotion list prepared before his retirement and intentional delay causes serious financial losses to the petitioner due to their latches, negligence and malafide attitude due to lust of demand of money for the promotion of petitioner.

(ii) For issuance of a direction to the respondents authorities to explain the delay in causing such illegal malafide act done by the office bearers and the Sr.

Authorities are keeping mum looking irregularity, and wrongful act done by his staff.

(iii) For that the respondent authorities should inquire the matter seriously against those office bearers responsible for such illegal wrongful act, and malafide action taken against the petitioner and punish them.

(iv) For any other reliefs for which petitioner is entitled.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is old employee and he was not given promotion. Counsel submits that the petitioner has already been retired but promotion has not given to the petitioner. Counsel further

4. Counsel for the South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited submits that his representation is still pending before the respondent No. 2 which is annexed as Annexure- 5.

5. In this view of the matter, respondent No. 2 ( The M.D., South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited, Patna, Bihar) is hereby directed to pass a reasoned and speaking order on the representation filed by the petitioner within 90 days from the date of production of order.

6. With this direction the writ petition stands disposed off.
