The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offences punishable under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471, 476, 488, 120 (B) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(A), 32(1)(2), 38(1) 41(1), and 47 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

As per allegation, about 3000 liters of foreign liquor have been recovered from the vehicle. However, it is contended that petitioner's name has cropped up on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused, Ajay Singh Akela who has already been granted bail. Petitioner claims his antecedent to be clean and he is custody since 12.05.2017.

No.31953 of 2017 (2) dt.13-07-2017 2 / 2 Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Special Judge (Excise )-cum-A.D.J. VI, Kaimur at Bhabua in connection with Drugawati P.S. Case No.73 of 2017.

Further, if the petitioner, after his release in this case, is again found to be involved in criminal case of similar nature, the court concerned would be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of his bail bond.
