2. The petitioner is in custody since 15.01.2017 in connection with Deokund P.S. Case No. 01 of 2017 for the alleged offences under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. It is submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated and claims that he was not present in the village on the date of occurrence. The petitioner is aged person of about 65 years claiming clean antecedents.

4. Having regard to the nature of accusations, gravity of the offence alleged and having regard to the post mortem report as recorded in paragraph-48 of the case diary which shows the cause of death as asphyxia as a result of strangulation, this Court is not inclined to grant the privilege of bail to the petitioner. The bail petition stands dismissed.
