JUSTICE AJAY KUMAR TRIPATHI ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 11-02-2015 The policy is very clear that selection of only such a person can be made to work as an Aangan Bari Sevika provided she belongs to the ward for where a selection is required to be made. Obviously, for extraneous reasons and manipulating the system and showing that there was no adequate response by adequate number of candidates, by default, the petitioner had to be selected. The reason is obviously not acceptable especially when the guidelines do not provide for such a leeway. It is also further unacceptable to this Court where large number of cases are filed

Patna High Court CWJC No.2480 of 2015 dt.11-02-2015 2/2 everyday fighting for every post and every position announced by the State or its functionaries and this ward does not have anybody else beyond the petitioner and another candidate, who are interested in their selection as Aangan Bari Sevika.

No interference is warranted with the orders impugned. Respondents are directed to make a fresh selection with widest publicity in this regard and complete the process. Writ is dismissed.
