The petitioner, husband of opposite party no. 2, apprehends his arrest in Complaint Case No. 1553 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 498A, 406/34, 494 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Earlier vide order dated 07.11.2019, the matter was sent to the Mediation Centre for settlement of dispute between the parties and from perusal of mediator's report dated 06.12.2019(flag-O), it appears that the dispute between the parties has been resolved on the terms mutually agreed upon by them.
