The petitioner seeks regular bail in Bettiah Town P.S. Case No. 85 of 2014 for the offence under Section 25(1-b)a of the Arms Act and Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code. The police raided the house of the petitioner and recovered one loaded country-made pistol and one Hero Honda motorcycle.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that with regard to the motorcycle, no case for theft is registered. The petitioner purchased the motorcycle from one Vinesh Kumar Baitha. For recovery of the loaded country-made pistol, the petitioner has remained in jail for 11 months. Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that the

No.29483 of 2014 (5) dt.09-01-2015 2/2 petitioner has remained in jail for about 11 months, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, West Champaran at Bettiah in Bettiah Town P.S. Case No. 85 of 2014.
