1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(i) To issue appropriate direction, order or writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondent no. 3 to grant benefit of ACP/MACP to the petitioner with effect from due date as the petitioner superannuated on 31.01.2022 after regular service of about 34 years against the post of Clerk in the office of respondent no.3 but the respondents have not granted the said benefit to the petitioner till date without any rhyme or reason.

(ii) To issue appropriate direction, order or writ

Patna High Court CWJC No.12705 of 2023(2) dt.15-01-2024 2/2 in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondents to pay consequential monetary benefits to the petitioner along with interest. (iii) To issue appropriate direction, order or writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondent no.4 to revise the post retirement benefits of the petitioner consequent to grant of benefit of ACP/MACP and to pay difference amount."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the respondent-State has submitted that the case of the petitioner for grant of benefits of ACP/MACP is in the process of being considered and the final decision would definitely be taken, within a period of four weeks from today. It is directed accordingly.

3. The writ petition stands disposed off.
