2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 683 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable u/s 341, 323, 307, 498A, 406, 379 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and the co-accused persons are alleged to have tortured the complainant mentally and physically due to non-fulfillment of demand of Rs. 20,00,000/- as dowry and ousted her from the house.
4. Earlier this case was referred to the Mediation and
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.61657 of 2024(5) dt.27-02-2025 2/2 Conciliation Center, Patna High Court, Patna vide order dated 05.12.2024 and from where the matter has been resolved amicably between the parties and the complainant is living happily with her husband (petitioner).
5. Keeping in view of the aforesaid facts, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail.
6. Let the above named petitioner, in the event of his arrest/surrender within a period of four weeks from today, be enlarged on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Jehanabad in connection with Complaint Case No. 683 of 2023, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
7. This application stands allowed.
