JUSTICE KISHORE KUMAR MANDAL ORAL ORDER 01-09-2015 Heard the Counsels for the petitioner and the State. The writ application seeks a direction on the District Bar Association (respondent no. 5) to abide by the terms of the agreement which was reached between the petitioner and the respondent Bar Association.
The maintainability of the writ petition has been questioned by the respondents. Counsel for the petitioner states that the Bihar State Bar Council (respondent no. 3) exercises power of superintendence over the Bar Associations in the State of Bihar. The petitioner has approached the respondent Bar Council ventilating the grievance. He, therefore, seeks permission of the Court to withdraw the application enabling him to ventilate his
Patna High Court CWJC No.18588 of 2010 (6) dt.01-09-2015 2/2 grievance before the respondent Bar Council.
The writ application stands disposed of with the said liberty. Be it noted that this Court has not gone into the merit of the claim of the petitioner.
