The petitioners seek bail in Mehandiganj P.S. Case No. 05/2017, registered for the offences punishable under Section 307 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioners and others are alleged to have assaulted the informant and his family members.

It is submitted that similarly situated co-accused Pankaj Kewat @ Pankaj @ Pankaj Kumar has been enlarged on bail vide order passed in Cr. Misc. 22470/2017. The petitioner no. 1 is in jail since 20.02.2017 and petitioner no. 2 is in jail since 16.03.2017.

Case No. 05/2017.
