The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in a case instituted for the offences under Sections 363, 366 and 366(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioners are mother and father of Chandan Kumar who is said to have taken away the victim, Bandana Bharti, aged about 15 years for the purposes of marriage.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that for the act of his son parents should not be kept behind the bar. Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, let petitioners, namely, Sulochna Devi and Ram Shubhav

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.30205 of 2018 (2) dt.17-05-2018 Raaut alias Ram Shubhav Raut, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional District & Sessions Judge, Rosera (Samastipur) in connection with Hasanpur P.S. Case No.172 of 2017, S.T. 16 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. It is made clear that if the petitioners will not cooperate during course of investigation and join for interrogation the police will be at liberty to file an application for cancellation of bail.
