2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 380(C) of 2017, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 406, 409, 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The complainant and several others had deposited money to get better returns in Idol India Corporations Limited. On maturity, when the complainant went to the office of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.65993 of 2024(13) dt.22-09-2025 2/2 company for refund of money, the office was found closed and the accused perosns fled away misappropriating the money. Similarly, the complainant was cheated.

The learned counsel for the complainant has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that Universal Micro Credit Company Limited is a sister concern of Idol India Corporations Limited and in fact, the petitioner is the promoter of Idol India Corporations Limited. He further submitted that a huge amount was cheated, the petitioner company caused unlawful loss and the complainant also became an accused in one case because of the petitioner's fraudulent activities. The petitioner is wife of Bappadiya Majumder who was CMD of the said Idol India Corporation, Ltd. And she had active role in affairs of the company.

5. Considering the fact that a huge money was cheated by the company named above from which the petitioner being wife of the CMD of the said company had active role in the affairs of the company, I do not think it to be a fit case for bail, which is hereby rejected.
