The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Karndey P.S. Case No. 37 of 2017 registered under Sections 147, 149, 341, 342, 323, 324, 307, 332, 337, 353 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is contended by the learned counsel for the petitioner that there is no whisper in the first information report that the petitioner indulged in obstructing the police in discharge of official duty. It is submitted that a vague and omnibus allegation has been made on the basis of hearsay statement made

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.29684 of 2018 (2) dt.17-05-2018 by the Choukidar of the village.

Learned counsel for the State opposed the application for grant of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner. Considering the nature of allegation made in the first information report, in the event of arrest or surrender in the court below within six weeks from today, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned R.S. Judicial Magistrate, Sheikhpura in connection with Karndey P.S. Case No. 37 of 2017 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr. P.C.
