The petitioner was caught red handed while he made attempt to encash a cheque which had been issued in the name of one Umesh Mandal but subsequently, the aforesaid cheque was lost and the holder of bank account directed the concerned bank to stop the payment on the aforesaid cheque. Moreover, petitioner does not have any criminal antecedent and is languishing in jail custody since 16.10.2015.
