JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 08-04-2016 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner being the husband of the victim is languishing in jail since 22.08.2015 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 304B and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The basic accusation is of killing the daughter of the informant after three years of the marriage for non-fulfillment of the dowry demand.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the victim died due to acute diarrhea.
Considering the fact that the victim died within three years of the marriage and there is accusation of demand of dowry, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected in
