====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 07-08-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the counsel appearing on behalf of the State.

Petitioner is aggrieved by non consideration of case for grant of promotion.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the similar circumstanced other petitioners have been granted benefit of time bound promotion under the statute dated 24.12.1986 but the case of the petitioner has not been considered. Without going into the merit of the writ application, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the

Patna High Court CWJC No.16003 of 2019(2) dt.07-08-2019 2/2 respondents to examine the case of the petitioner objectively and if it is found that the case of the petitioner is covered by the statute dated 24.12.1986, the University shall take appropriate decision with regard to the claim of the petitioner under time bound promotion scheme dated 24.12.1986.

Necessary decision in this regard must be taken by the respondents within a maximum period of 60 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. With the aforesaid, the writ application stands disposed of.
