In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Arwal P.S. Case No. 56 of 2015 registered for offence under sections 394, 302 of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act.
Allegation has been made that while going to Daudnagar from Arwal by Tempo some unknown persons looted Rs. 49,800/- of the victim and in that course, victim was killed by gun shot. It is a case of road robbery. During investigation the name of the petitioner has come. Paras 46, 48, 64, 87, 80, 100, 103, 108 and 123 of the case diary are sufficient indicating the involvement of the petitioner in the aforesaid incident.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.8267 of 2016 (3) dt.22-04-2016 2/2 In such view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this petition is rejected. The court below is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within a period of one year.
